Plans and reports

The Vision Zero Action Plan for Dallas defines the official strategy for how the city will advance its Vision Zero goal through 2026.

The plan is the result of a two-year planning process involving significant data analysis and research, and collaboration and input from numerous city departments and partner agencies, elected officials, and the public. The plan was adopted by Dallas City Council on June 8, 2022.

Crash data analysis, 2015-2019

Vision Zero is data-driven, which means formal crash data and community input are gathered, analyzed, utilized, and shared to understand traffic safety priorities. These analyses lead to the development of the High Injury Network (HIN), which geographically identifies where investments in safety are most urgent.
